Either the Star Wars trilogy (if I had to pick a fave it would be Empire)
or a close second would be the Lord of the Rings Trilogy (again if I had to pick it would be TTT)

if I had to pick between Empire and TTT?....

The Empire strikes back wins! :D

I hate these `pick your all time fave film` questions...cos I can never give a straight answer :p lol..

The Great Escape is one of my favourites. Wish I could have put a sound file here. :D

Original Star Wars trilogy, of which Empire is my fave. Closely followed by the Indy films.

Fave comedy is Ferris Bueller and my fave `stand alone` film would probably be Goodfellas.

Ask me again tomorrow and those last two would probably change ;)

I think Terminator 2 just shades it for me.

The Bridge On The River Kwai.

Historically flawed but an absolute gem of a movie.
The acting abilities of Alec Guinness , Jack Hawkins and William Holden and Sessue Hayakawa made this movie a treat.

Allied :) to that the backdrops / scenery was breathtaking .

Choagy :) One grolsch and counting

You started the film name game with that one I believe. Wouldn`t mind a look at that one again. If I remember rightly it starred among others the two Anthony Qs i.e. Quayle and Quinn. Will have to keep an eye out on the TV schedules. :)
