I know it`s a tad gimmicky, but I fell in love with this top the moment I saw it. Though judging by the below listing, it`s in demand! Any online retailers that stock this?

Guys, I can`t stress this enough, if you call Argos now & query this, they will tell you exactly what they`ve told four people here at work. They will be honoring ALL orders taken, this includes multiple orders as well. I`m absolutley deflated right about now, as I only had an Electron & couldn`t get in on the action.

No, I work for Telewest, and several members of our team placed orders for the TV. Then a girl on our team contacted Argos, who`d already consulted their solicitors, and she was told all orders placed up untill 12 will be honored.

Big buzz about this at work, all orders placed prior to the listing being changed WILL be honoured. Our whole team were just jumping up & down celebrating.

Ok, reality check, it`s NOT going to be Davros or the Emperor Dalek. Think that`s the fanboy in us all being optimistic. I can`t see it being something outside of this current series, it`s GOT to be Adam, he was in The Long Game, he knows all about The Doctor & Satelite Five, and he`s the only real character that could jolt the new viewers with a `shock`. Been a long time since the classic series, they`re hardly going to throw in characters the new generation wont know, would be all too anti-climatic!

Unless Adam is indeed Davros? They both share a similar device on their forehead...

I don`t see why they can`t just throw Liverpool into one group of five, with the majority being made up of un-seeded sides, top two qualifying from the group as normal. Liverpool HAVE to be there imo.

Sorry to break it to you cirdan, but you`re NOT the best team in the city. Not by a damn long shot. If we use your `logic` then Liverpool are now the best team in Europe, no? They`re NOT the best team in Europe, but they`re certainley a much better side than Everton! Yes Liverpool have been extremely mediocre in the league, but their domestic form has been coupled with some of the most horendous injury problems ever incured by a Premier League side. And David Moyes acheiving what he did this season w/Everton wont ever happen again, 9 out of 10 times Everton will finnish below Liverpool, and normality will be restored again next season no doubt. I`m absolutley chuffed for Liverpool, FINNALY another English team wins it, and worthy champions at that.

Happy for Liverpool, one of the greatest defensive performances I`ve ever seen in my life. But yes, in a sense, the best team did lose, not sure how anybody could dispute that, but I`m sure many a Liverpool fan will contest that opinion ;) Shame it wasn`t settled by a more clean cut goal.....

I have to admit, I found myself routing on Chelsea for this entire two-legged affair, purely because I don`t think Liverpool stand half the chance Chelsea would have stood of beating Milan, and I`m an English patriot that just wants to see his country improve on their pathetic CL record (only one final appearence & win). That said, Liverpool have now beaten TWO major league domestic champions over TWO legs, so yeah, they`re a definite threat. Imo Milan aren`t as good as Chelsea, but on neutral soil, I can`t see past the Italians come Istanbul.

Issue w/LG8120

Ok so my LG froze last night & I powered it off. Then when I powered it back on, I get prompted a message saying `Write New Name` & then the interface appears & is totally messed up! The main screen has a weird blue circle moving around, and the word `Deflect` appears besides the menu option, what the hell? When I go into menu all the icons are messed up, such as the phone book icon appearing besides `settings` - everything is just totally screwed & there`s even some cases of text over-laping! The hell has happened? :/

Which mobo to go for?

Guys, hit me with some knowledge. As per specs below, what would you sugest I go for? Changing mobo because it`s apparent my 6800 doesn`t work w/my ASRock combo-z.

AMD Athlon (Socket 754) 3000+
GeForce 6800 ULTRA
1 GIG Crucial PC3200 RAM

I`ve just obtained my mobo`s latest BIOS via the above link, but it appears as if it can only be updated via booting up from floppy disk, in which case I currently do not have a disk drive :/

Is there a way around this?

Ok, I left the card with a mate of mine who owns a PC repair shop, and he ran a check on it & said the card was fine & that he was playing Doom 3 for hours with it. I just got a 500w PSU, tried the card on my system again, same problem persists. WHAT THE HELL?! Only thing I haven`t done is install the latest BIOS settings for my ASRock K8 Combo-Z - as I don`t know how to. Have saved the file on my comp, but am I right in saying it needs to be installed off a floppy disk? In which case I don`t have a floppy drive at the moment. :/ Does anybody know of any known compatibility issues between my mobo & card?

Just did a fresh install of Windows, problem persists. I feel like crying. Nearly two week`s wages spent on the card, not to mention the cost of the PSU, and I can`t get it to work. I just hate this >:(

That`s the PSU I brought btw - only just found it now on the PC World web-site & for nearly bloody 20 quid cheaper! :(

Yeah, the only other hardware which is connected is a HD & a CD drive. I`ll guess everything will come more clear as soon as I`ve got that fresh install of Windows.

Just spent £50 on a PSU (450w) after being assured by a PC World tech that it would work w/a 6800. Same problem persists. >:( Can always take the PSU back, but my god what a bloody nightmare!

Well I got the card yesterday, fitted it in correctly (to my knowledge) and am now having some issues with what I think might be due to an insufficent PSU :/

Though I did install the Nvidia drivers over the old ATI ones before I removed them. Anyway, desktop activites are fine, but whenever I try to launch a game, it`ll freeze & reboot my system after a short while.

It does state on my PSU case that it has a 460w.

Gosh darnit, why does everything have to be so complex! How`d I check if my power supply is sufficent enough? I wish upgrading was more idiot-friendly >:(

I`ve weighed up both the x800 & 6800 cards, and come to the conclusion I ought to go for the later, especially considering I`m into Doom 3 big time.

Oh & more to the topic, can I actually get it much cheaper than that price stated on Overclockers?
