I ask of you to support me in my boycott of Buena Vista's Region 2 "Special Edition" of Robert Zemeckis' sublime film "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".Buena Vista has mistreated us many times before but this takes the biscuit.

Now, I'm not a fancy scientist but it seems to me that we are missing a lot and seeing as the audio commentary has been constantly voted as one of the best since laserdisc days, I'm furious about this.

Please do not buy this title.

Way ahead of you. I`ve been complaining about us being screwed over this edition since it was announced. Quite apart from the slimmed down content, according to the R2 project, it`s going to be a Woolies exclusive release.

I`m now the proud owner of the R1 edition, and doesn`t it look good?

Excuse me, I`m just getting a trojan attack from the Iranians.

The beautiful thing is we have this thing called the Internet which allows us to buy cheap region 1 discs, a good website called http://www.dvdcompare.org.uk which allows us to compare specs, and easily hackable and dirt-cheap DVD players.

Not quite sure what the problem is, to be honest ?

The ugly thing and the problem are...........
even as we type, greedy organisations/individuals are scheming and plotting in a little known attempt to remove our right/ability to purchase said discs.
My feeling is it`s only a matter of time.

Reading the comments above, and seeing the same thing repeated in DVD review magazie, I wholeheartedly support the R2 boycott of this title, and will be recommending al my friends to do the same.
