Epson Photo R265 + Purple haze

I was working on a dvd cover for a friends holiday dvd. The majority was green,few pics jobs a gooden. when i printed the cover off everything was perfect but it had yellow lines going down so I changed the cartridges (needed doing anyway). So again printed it off and the yellow lines had gone but now all the pictures have a purple overtone altho the jamaicain flags stayed perfect. Thinking that maybe Acoustica cd cover maker had gone gaga (long shot i know) I went on to google and typed in liverpool found a jpg of the crest and printed it near perfect. So i tried a photo i have on my computer and it came out purple aswell. The inks are in the correct place, I have checked a few times as i thought maybe one was in the wrong slot

Any ideas

I am going to try and buy some genuine cartridges from te3sco and see if that works since the purple problem only happened after i changed the ink.

p.s i have cleaned the heads and done a nozzel check and it looks like the light magenta & magenta are the same colour.

I would like to know how to create a redirecting frame like the ones on this website. The reason i ask is at work popular webistes like ebay,google,hotmail are all ban on the firewall program so i was thinking that maybe if i had
msn open in a frame from my blueyonder personal webspace would this be a work around.

I have a usb external hard drive with just under 300Gb of memory. I have 133 gb of space left yet when i try to copy over a dvd sized file over it tells me that there is no enough space and to run disk clean up, yet if i copy over several smaller files totaling a dvd sized amount it copies them over. any ideas?

sugguest a dvd printerable printer for me

I want a printer that wll print off digital photos i have taken and to print images directly onto dvd media. I would be looking to pay about £150 or a little more for better image quality.

the Epson Stylus Photo R340 looks ok

printer probs

at work we have a stand alone epson stylus c66 and when we want to print (either a big file or little file) the request takes about a minute and a half to 2 minutes to get to the printer. it is connected via usb. anyone know why it would take so long. the i.t guy said its because we have to much junk on the local driver does this sound right ?

games taken off works computer

they have taken the games (freecell, hearts etc) off the works computers but i want them back. can i put them on a cd from my home computer and out them back on the works machine. Would it just be the exe file i need or would it be a few other files that would need coping. Also anyone know were i could get other little games like the above so i could put them on as well.

My friend doesnt have the internet at home so asked me to buy Piano Man: the Very Best of Billy Joel from amazon and we will settle up when it gets here, however theirs like 3 different versions 2004,2005,2006.

Whats the point in that ?

also just checked itunes and it says that the 2004/2005 version dont exist but the 2006 only have 18 tracks

practical jokes

Anyone got any funny practical jokes they would like to share.

I`ll go first:

I sit opposite one of me girls and we have recently had new USB optical mice to replace our ps2 crappy ones. I have kept my crappy mouse just encase it is needed and on Friday when she had left for the weekend I plugged my crappy mouse into the back of her computer. So about 10.30am today and I can't resist just moving it a little. After 10-20 mins of me randomly moving her mouse she goes ape s*** "what's wrong with my mouse" etc etc etc.

So I leave it alone for a good hour and when she is sitting their not touching the mouse I move it is a circle. So she turns her monitor around and starts screaming the mouse is being controlled by a ghost. So for 2-3 minutes she's watching the vdu with the pointer going in ever direction when one of me other girls gets of the phone and she is called over to have a look. after 10 min of watching me move her mouse the one girl says" if I set up column a as yes and b as no we can ask it questions" well that was it I could not hold the laughter in so I have my forehead on me arm while I'm pi**ing my self with laughter and they start asking questions to the computer "is she crazy" I went to column a "is The Minister gay" straight to b for that one then she asked if I was a friendly little ghost and I ignored that one. So for 15 mins I was sitting opposite 2x30 something woman asking a computer random questions. At this point they both called the partners to tell them about it and I had to confess as I had tears rolling from my eyes.

Man it was brilliant. I`m not very good at telling stories so the fact none of you were their may mean it looses some of its funniness but having 2 woman actually asking a computer questions was just brilliant. If only we had new USB keyboards as well I could have type a message.
