Thought it was class, my daughter cried at the end, though she is only 3. One question, SPOILER:
there was a shot of a man in a black suit when the doctor was being reminded of those who died - who was he?
I just didnt recognise him.

I loved it, the whole thing was well put together and shows that the next season could be fantastic if it follows in the same caliber - roll on next week.

Guitar Hero 3 controller pairing - help please
Hi,
ive just bought GH3 for my PS£ and have been trying for the last hour to pair the wireless `plec` with the guitar controller with no sucess - I am following the instructions but it just aint working. Any advice would be greatfully appreciated.

cant beat Close Encounters in my book - preferred watching that to Spidy 3, mind would have preferred having my eyes gouged out than watching that again.

reading this one with interest - dont know the answer but had the same problem the other day with two episode of `Come dine with me` from Channel 4. I got no error messages against the recordings but couldnt play the second episode and had to hit Sky to get back out. I am going to try taping somehting this afternoon and see if the problem re-occurs if it does I will be on the phone to them!!

I still cant decide if I like this film or not, either cut, it just doesnt feel right and I love the first 2, three is middling. I sat and watched the `uncut` version on monday and the extra swearing sticks out like a sore thumb which it shouldnt as its natural in a die hard movie

Ive got the 42"sx in the lounge plugged into Skyhd and the PS3 and I think its great. I had an HD dropout problem on the HDMI port and they replaced the tv within 4 days. I do agree though the sound is a little poor but im going to spend 300 quid on one of there surround sound tables because I like the company

I own the joytech switcher box which comes with no cables but does have a remote - think I paid about 30 quid on amazon. It gives really good picture quality and I would recommend it. It fits 3 external inputs to one output
RE: Transformers: The Movie (Remastered Edition) DVD
I have the american version of this and love it though the picture quality goes a bit off sometimes as there are lines through it when the sound gets loud. I was going to buy the R2 one also (I should also say I have original release and a copy in my Japanese box set of the G1 cartoons) but I have just seen it is coming out on Blu Ray in a couple of months so im going for that one instead.

I loved this movie - I recently watched through all the G1 episodes of the cartoon and the movie just to remind myself how much I loved Transformers as a
kid. I have now seen the movie 4 times and its just wow, and I hate Michael Bay films. Sure some bits are cheezy but I dont care. It beats Spider-man 3, Pirates 3 and Shrek 3 hands down (which wasnt difficult as they were all crap) in the fact it doesnt take itself seriously. The effects are great, and to those who complain they want to see big blocky transformers instead of the millions of pieces ones you get with this film, if that had been done they probably would have complained the effects were poor.
PS3 Transformers the Game Sound Problem
Hi,
Ive just bought myself a copy of Transformers for the PS3. It looks great but when I try and play it there is a nasty high pitched sound all the way through the proglogue that continues into the game itself. I have checked my connections and tried another game which doesnt replicate the fault and even taken the game back and got another copy. Does anyone else have this problem or is this high pitched sound supposed to be there?? Its nealrly making my ears bleed.

I loved the last two weeks worth - going to sit down and watch it again.
Dont know if anyone has noticed but the BBCs Doctor Who website has announced the Season 4 writers with RTD being at the helm again for the Christmas special (the only reason I have stayed sober on Christmas day for the last 2 years) and 4 episodes. IT looks like he isnt going so quickly after all. They also say filming starts soon so Freema Agyeman looks like she is still there also.

I currently have my PS3 plugged into my HDTV through the HDMI cable. The picture is fantastic but the sound is really quiet to the point where I have to turn the tv up way beyond what I normally would and its starting to P me off.
Any ideas on what the problem could be??

I think they are more adult than the current ones - though I do like Tennant and Agyeman - im going back to watch my William Hartnell ones this week though

Ive just spotted that - it looks great, better than bloody eurovision. I feel half the time that I only pay my tv license for 13 45 minute episodes and a christmas special and dont want to see a bunch of people prance around followed by atedious link from Wogan.
I have just started to re watch the Ecclestone episodes and cant decide if they/he is better or worse but I do like them! Roll on Saturday!!!!!

I watched a bit of it with the kids but couldnt get into it as it looked like a copy we would have got off the man who came round with a suitcase full of VHS tapes years ago so I turned it off. I have the DVD pre ordered from playusa.com and will re live my youth when it arrives

I didnt really like this film - I thought the prospect of calling it spiderman meant that spiderman might have been seen in it. The `flight` action sequences were fast and a little clumsy, the later ones didnt contain that much action.
Oh and Kirsten Dunst can not act, or sing - Raimi should have taken a leaf from his own script two movies ago and let her go. Bryce Dallas Howard was under used, Topher Grace was fairly pointless but thank got for Bruce Campbel and JK Simmons - again the stand out moments.
I came home form the cinema last night and watched the first film and found it so much better that 3 and im not happy!!
Best thing about the film - Transformers Trailer before hand!!!!!!

im 6 2 and an 18 stone `fit` bloke (I do a lot of weight lifting as part of my exercise). I once had a bloke jump out of his car with a screwdriver in his hand. That did scare me (regardless of size, weight and sex it will still kill) but I remebered what it was like being a bouncer (I am now a computer system designer) and just smacked him one. I think they are still picking him up ha ha but I would not recommed it to anyone - the world is full of nutters and most of them are the people you will meet when you dont want to - though smurfette if you need a hand just give me a shout I have a large size 12 boot you could borrow

I shout f*** at most drivers - not tourettes though just a deep hate for them all. Equal rites smurfette - shout the same its your duty ha ha
I dont think it is illegal but to be honest my wife is learning to drive and I wouldnt put the 2 kids in with her regardless - mind I wouldnt put myself in a car with her either

its absolutley disgusting - I went for Superman Returns when it was supposed to be out about a month ago and they wanted 28 quid - I got the region free version for 17.
I have just had a look at movetymes website - they have a link at the top to region free blu rays so it will save you trying to work out which is which if you want a look

Play isnt bad but check first to see if the disc is region coded or not. If it isnt then use either Play USA, Ebay or Movietyme to get the disc for a better price
