Anyone bough a Multiregion DVD player from.......
Has anyone here dealt with dvdworld url is www.dvdworld.co.uk. As I am thinking of buying a dvd player from them but would like to know if there have been any problems with them like delivery or customer services before i part with my hard earn dosh

HI, Thanks guys for your reviews. I am going to go to john lewis and take a good look at all of these tv mention above and see what i prefer.
Do John lewis ie my local one is Sheffield, would they price match any online prices or just local shops. As if they were to price match that sony I mention it mean knocking of £400

Anymore suggestions or comments? The reason why I kept looking at the sony cos it will go with my sony collection and i beleive it a decent TV. But it appears no one own one yet to be able to give me there comments as it a new tv set i believe

Right I have been looking out for a new 32" widescreen tv that needs to be very good.
I have norrow it down between these 2 tv`s.
Panasonic TX32PH40
Sony KV32FQ80
Have any of you lot got either set or any know of any comments between the two.
ANy help would be greatfull

I have never been a fan of Philips goods apart from Shavers LOL.
Just that I have had Philps videos recroders in the past which were rubbish and never really looked back. Has anyone got this tv that Chris mention above is it any good etc?
The Panasonic that I mention seem to have alot of reviews good ones

Hi All
Just wonder if anyone out there know of a some good tv`s that got a few RGB input scart socket. The most I found was 2 rgb 1 s-vid at rear well a few like this, i am sure this is the most we can get at the mo.
The TV that really interest me is the panasonic TX32PH40
Any comments please or advice :D

Yes I though the pioneer 636 was surpose to fast hence the reason why i bough it at the time.

Ok I currently have a Pioneer 636 in which I have had for about 2 years now and I seem to notic the layer change on it. For how long I dont know. But It started to get on my nerve as the film freeze for a sec when it change it layer. I am sure all dvd players do layer change and I am sure there some dvd player out there that you never notice it done a layer change. If so which ones if anyone knows. I been told Sony are good at this.
Any suggestions

I dont have a PS2 but I do know that alot of them are fualty and yours could be one of them. This was announce by Sony a couple of weeks ago I think.

All I am saying is the site is kewl it a nice layout and it reflex to the awia dvd player. All I am doing is telling you what could happen but not force to happen.
Big company spend lot of mony to get things design and it not nice for people taking the ideas.

ALL I said was if you are planning to use that you have to get awia go ahead as as i can see it looks the same as what is onthe palyer but change the text, THIS can be copyrighted and if it is then you be in dead Bollix.
I am sure Jimbo knows this that probly why he is not using it.

Hi, If the menu is the same as what it is on the AWIA DVD plyer menu then you may have to ask awia for permission to have the copyright you be in the court.
Then again I may be wrong. But I am sure it is against the copyright laws

Hi, Can I ask do you get this blue shadow on Region 2 dvd`s aswell as the Region 1. Check this out please. as if it what I am thinking which happens to Region 1 dvd with NTSC it means your TV is not taking the signal verywell.

No, I am not saying he should ignore your e-mails etc.
This is what I think should happen. IF your e-mailing him direct he should at least answer the e-mail within 24 hours if sent in the week. But if it was sent at weekends he should answer it on Monday when it back to work.
I know he probly not doing this. But if things are that bad why dont you do something properly about it instead of going on about it on the fourm. what help would that do. Nothing in my point of views. But I have to say I feel sorry for the people that get messed about with as if it was me I would for sure be very P***SED off. if it not sorted soon as it can. I know not everthing can be working perfect. But touch wood everything i have bough so far eg tv, vcr dvd player and so on have been good no probs at all.
I do hope you Scan users get it sorted soon.

At last some had said it. I started to get sick of people slagging each other dvd player off. We all have our own views. but hey what can be 100 percent perfect. NOTHING. But I still think Scan are not to the standard like they should be as yet. So they are still in the bad books

Well I have a Pioneer 636 and it a fantastic player.
But I cant judge the Awia DVD player as I not seen one so I can judge it.
But I would of though Awia would be a good player as I know some of there VCR are pretty good as my mate got one. But I dont. I normally stick to brand names EG Pioneer and the lovely Panasonic Widescreen TV hee hee :oÞ
