RE: Thatcher tackle...
Quote:
That`s shocking - nothing less than pre-meditated assault. If he isn`t given as massive fine and a long ban by his club/the F.A. then the game really is in the s***.
I remember years ago Leicester City`s Steve Walsh got an 11 match ban for breaking David Geddis`s (Shrewsbury) jaw in the opening game of 1987 season.... So..... what will Mr Thatcher get?
Mind you can you sack someone for breaking another players jaw... hey Mr Wise?????

RE: How many times have you sent something back under warranty?
To make you feel happy.... :D
I had to replace my Lexmark printer 3 times in the first 12 months...
Our "Free" sky box from years back was replaced 3 times in the first 3 months....
To make you feel worse... :(
I have a electronics friend who wouldn`t tough Liteon with a barge pool... They make superb lasers.. infact is probably a Liteon laser in most DVD/CD readers... but they make shocking electronics.... which is probably why it keeps going wrong.....

RE: Talk Talk Broadband Package.
I signed up....
Oh the joys.....
Wanted Caller ID.... 2 weeks to get it... excuse... "Our screen hasn`t been updated, I can`t do anyting yet"
Got Voice mail when I didn`t want it... Called up... "Our screen hasn`t been updated, I can`t do anyting yet"
Got letter confirming Broad band live date.... dated 9th... got it 12th.... Line is live (modem adsl light etc)... TalkTalk won`t acccept the password they sent..... their automated password retrival service doesn`t recognise the phone line as a Talk Talk line.... called them... when I got into the que and waited 20mins... got through to everyones favourite... an Indian Script reading call centre....... guess what their excuse was........
"Our screen hasn`t been updated, I can`t do anyting yet"
Ohhhhhhhhhh they seem a superb service.........
RE: Refurbished Virgin Motorola L6 - £39.99 incl p&p
Virgin Say No....
According to 2 difference sales reps that phone is not in stock.. even though the web site says it is... Interestingly neithe ris the Nokia 1101 thats also advertised on that page....
BUT.. it might be worth ringing them as the had a large list of other recon phones....
RE: Rooney Goes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But should he play?.....
Stay with me here.....
Not that I`m clinging on to the past.. BUT... in 1966 who was Englands Greatest striker?.... Jimmy Greaves..... Did he play in the latter stages?.. no.... Injured against France (I think)... Was he available for the actual Final?... Yes.... This is where my Rooney question comes in.... Alf could have played Greaves... But didn`t.. he kept faith with the "settled" and winning team.... Hurst was a fringe player and drafted in late... and look at what a legend he became....
Soooooooooooo Rooney can`t play in the first part.... If we get through... to a stage where Rooney can play... DO we upset what could be a "settled" wining team just to play Rooney?... I don`t think Sven is a strong enough manager to say no.....
Just a thought......
RE: World Cup Songs - Roll Over Embrace
Anyone else noticed who is no 19 in the popular music charts???? :B

Anyone else remember Thomas McRocklon???... Sure it was late 80`s to early 90`s... young kid.. Steve Via type stuff.... just rememebr footage of him in pub somewhere... very metal...
Anyhow.. if you want to get your own back I`m sure there some kind of royalties law you could land on him... :)
Guitar Practice Amp Bargain.....
Right I`ll be upfront now.... this is via eBay.... BUT... its a shop flogging excess stock....
