here goes

step 1 turn on tv and dvd
step 2 press "menu" on the remote control
step 3 press "1" then "9"
step 4 scroll down to region settings press "enter"
step 5 press "0" then "enter" then "return"
And thats it you have a multi-region player

people keep telling me it is like betamax and vhs at the moment.

:) Hi Sorry it has taken so long for me to reply.
Here goes:
1, Switch on your machine
2, Insert your disk
3, Close the lid it will then start loading
4, While this is loading press button "1" as fast as you can
It does say wrong region but it does work. It also displays the subtitles.
And yes the remote wont work but who cares about that when you are in the car.
My son and I have watched 3 movies so far, all are region "1"

This is all explained in the first e-mail. I just copied it
