Does anyone have a code to unlock the Jwin model JD-TV 108. Your reply will be appreciated.

Get a One-For-All universal remote that has a DVD key and a
"magic" key, such as the One-For-All-4.

* Select DVD device on OFA remote
* Hold magic key until double flash on DVD key
* Enter device code 0533

The RDR-GXD500 DVD recorder must be set to command mode
"DVD1", and its own remote set to the same mode like this:

* Switch on recorder and point its own remote at it
* System-Menu -> Setup -> Options -> Command-Mode
* Select DVD1
* Set remote`s Command-Mode switch to DVD-1
(it`s under the sliding cover)
* Verify that recorder can be switched on and off with
both remotes

Now program function code 189 into button 1 of the OFA
remote like this:

1. Hold magic button until double flash on DVD key
2. Press 994
3. Press magic button (don`t hold)
4. Press 189
5. Press 1 - double flash indicates success

Advanced OFA remotes such as the Kameleon have five digit
function codes, in which case, press 00189 for step 4 above.

Now program function codes into buttons 2-5 like this:

* Repeat steps 1-3, then 255 2
* Repeat steps 1-3, then 095 3
* Repeat steps 1-3, then 221 4
* Repeat steps 1-3, then 079 5

Now the actual conversion of the RDR-GXD500 DVD recorder to
region-free:

* Put DVD recorder on standby and point OFA remote at it.
* Press 12345 - "TIMER OK" is displayed, and recorder
starts up
* Press 12345 - Recorder goes back to standby

The RDR-GXD500 DVD recorder is now multi-region.
Clear the OFA remote by removing its batteries for a while.

How can I get my HP200i from locking up on lasted region played, after 5th disc is played?

Hp782N w/ 2001 DVD+RW writer.

How do I make this model region free? Since the instructions say, that on the 5th disc, it will lock to what ever region the disc is. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi All,
Does anyone know anything about the Scott 838 ? all I know is that it is PAL/NTSC, mulit-voltage. The box says region code free, but the manual is in German. Is it a fairly good player? Would like to try it. I have bought a Daewoo 6000D and it is fairly good. It will play my RW+ disc and R+, good color and sound. I just want to know a little about the Scott 83338.

Just like haGGis, said"if only people would use the search or read". Go to the left of the screen, under INFO enter multi-regions hacks. Choose remoteable hacks. Go down to the bottom of the page a click on page twenty. You will find the answer there.

Configuring the remote. All it means is the code from the book that came with the remote.This is what you do . Turn off the player. ( no disc in tray)
press the dvd key on the one-for-all, so it blinks twice, enter 0539, your player should come on. turn it back off and just follow the instructions on the 750 hack found on this site. Good Luck

If you use the 750 hack, found on this site you have to use a one-4-all-six or one-4-all-4(digital) remote. The hack will make it region free. If you want it to be VCR friendly it must be chipped or have an online marcos remover.

If you hack it with the correct code, the one that is on this site ( 750 hack) it will be region free. You do nothing after that.This code will only make it region free. If you want marcos off it has to be chipped. It`s better to use one of those in line marco remover. They are fairly cheap, depending on where you look.

It is a Philips 1000, it is region free, but I was told it would have to be chipped to turn off the Marcovision.Have not found anyone in my area that can do it.
