Does anyone knoww if the Daewoo 6000 is out on the market yet? I read the it will playback disc recorded in +RW media disc?

The Daewoo DVG 6000D is available from Safeway at £89.99 or if not available there then at Empire Direct at the same price but with a £10.99 P+P charge. It is a great machine capable of playing dvd, cd, vcd, svcd, mp3, cd-r, cd-rw. It also has Dolby Digital and DTS outputs. One scart socket, AV and S-Video outputs and coaxial and digital audio outputs. Oh and I nearly forgot it has two microphone sockets with mic level and echo control knobs for the, wait for it........Karaoke function. It is also capable of playing multi-region discs via a remote control hack, a simple one found on this site under hacks.

I bought one from safeways, 89.99 brilliant! Plays everything!!

To make the player Region free:

Ensure there is no disc in the players draw

Press Setup

Press Stop

Press Previous

Press Next

A hidden menu will appear where you can select 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, and so on
