I`m totally new to all this hacking stuff, so bare with me! I have a phillips DVD762, do I need a special remote to do this hack thing? Will it make the player multi region or just change it to region 1? And what`s all the stuff about only being aloud to do it 25 times? If any one can help me and explain stuff to me that would be great!

It works fine. No drawback.Thanks to Jeroen and Martin Sneddon for this and the sound advice about the 25 times code as I nearly buggered up my machine without his help.

If you use the 750 hack, found on this site you have to use a one-4-all-six or one-4-all-4(digital) remote. The hack will make it region free. If you want it to be VCR friendly it must be chipped or have an online marcos remover. Regards, AL
