Which is the easiest to pick up for someone with NO programming knowledge?

Asp or PHP? MySql or Access for databases?

From the programs I watched, he never admitted to sleeping with the children, but letting them have his bed, whilst he slept elsewhere.

I have to agree, I was really looking forward to seeing Saruman get his............

Now it`s looks like I will have to wait another year.

I do believe this `cut` will spoil the film, and don`t believe the rubbish regarding ` It feels like they are ending the previous film` simply because

1) They started the Two Towers off with the Balrog sequence from The Fellowship of the Ring.

2) It should be looked on as One long film, as each film at present cannot be used as a stand alone movie, as each one leaves the story in the air.

Still I bet we can look forward to more `Arwen and Aragorn` love sequences, that grind the film to a halt ;)

Im still looking forward to the film, but my enthusiasm for it has halved.

RE: HELP NEEDED - some bad news

Rik,

I really do hope that your Father is well again soon. You have to remain positive, no matter how bad the news may be, and try anykind of therapy that may be given to your father.

My Father had a similar story, he went to the Dr`s for quite a few years complaining about pains in his stomach, he got told he was getting `Old` and should expect pains and aches, at the age of 55. At 60 and seeing the Dr multiple times, and getting the same old story of him being `older` he insisted on seeing a specialist, as he thought he had some sort of hernia.

He did see a specialist similar to your Father, and that day got told that there were some sort of growths. These were sent away and analysed, they were cancerous. These were secondary cancers though, but the Dr`s could not find the primary cancer. They knew it was somewhere in the stomach, but could not find it though scans etc, and came to the conclusion it was paper thin, and spread out, which is why on scans everything looked normal.

Within a month, my Father got told he had months to a year to live. There was NO treatment and NO cure, and that anything he tried was purely experimental. My Father tried everything given to him, but unfortunately, died 3 months later. In his last week we were told that his cancer had reduced by 30%.

We were obviously outraged and disgusted by the Dr who said he was getting `old`, this Dr later went on to phone us to say how sorry he was etc. He has a lot to live with as far as I am concerned.

I know I have painted a black picture, from my own experiences, but you do need to be strong. Not all stories are like mine, and I guess most are success stories.

It looks like your story is going to be a success. They have found the Cancer early.

The information you mention in your spoiler is an important part of the book, and also one of my favourite chapters.

Apart from that the film has changed because of this ommition as SPOILER:
The death of Saruman the White is not until the very end of the book, and shows how the once great wizard has utterly fallen. It also shows how much the hobbits have grown.

In the film he is to die at the start of Return of the King.

The trailer is OK i guess, but I cant make out Shelob in the clip, that`s why I want to see it in higher resolution.

I thought Shelob was actually at the end of the 2nd book, but Peter Jackson decided to carry over Shelob into the 3rd film.

I myself am waiting for a decent look at the trailer as the one that is available at the moment is not the best quality.

No mate, Sauron was a Maia of Aule in his beginnings.

The five Wizards were Saruman, Gandalf, Radagast, Pallando and Alatar.

Actually this is incorrect. Gandalf was never Gandalf the Brown. He arrived in Middle-Earth as Gandalf the Grey. Five Wizards were sent to Middle-Earth, amongst these was Radagast the Brown, I think you are getting mixed up with him.

Gandalf only ever `died` once. Then was returned as the White Wizard.

Although the version I have is becoming obsolete as the 15GB version is not being done anymore, its going to be a 20GB.

I have a 15 GB Ipod and its excellent. The sound is very good, the earphones you get with the Ipod are OK, but I shelled out for some better sony ones.

It`s easy to use, easy to set up and easy to transfer songs to the thing.

I have songs on the Ipod and on my PC.

Erm, from what i`ve read one of the other R2 might be uncut like the German version, but this might have forced subtitles :(

I`ll wait and see, what versions are cut, otherwise I will go for the R1.

I am waiting to hear if the R4 is going to be uncut, as like you Chewie, I prefer PAL.

According to DVD Compare, the R1 and R4 are uncut, but no other site has any information on whether the R4 is cut or not, so im holding back a little longer before buying.

The reason why we actually go red when sunbathing is because of cellular damage to the skin, blood rushes to the skin to repair the cellular damage caused to it. This is the `red` you see.

One thing I would recommend that does not seem to have been mentioned and that is drink `Plenty` of water!

If you suddenly come down with `prickly-heat` you could heatlh permitting take some Anti-Hystamine tablets.

Expensive VS Cheapo Cables!

Im currently in the process of upgrading my Home Cinema System.

The question I want to know is, these Digital Co-Axial cables you can buy from the likes of IXOS and QED, are they worht shelling out the extra money, or will a bog standard cable be OK?
