Resident Evil (Netflix live action series)

Just watched episode 1, can someone let me know if it gets better? Right now I can't bring myself to watch any more.

If this gets renewed when Cowboy Bebop didn't I will scream.

I noped out just watching the trailers. Not touching this with a barge pole.

It's so depressing. You could make an awesome show or series of films from the first three games alone.

Instead we get this generic zombie apocalypse bilge. Please somebody tell the writers that there is no global apocalypse in Resident Evil.

The recent movie showed that making a film as faithful as possible to the source material does not a good motion picture make. The point of the game was 50% zombies, 50% puzzle-solving. That that element away and you've got half a movie to fill.

And who can forget the Doom action movie with the FPS gimmick... oh wait we mostly did.

I did watch all of this.

It was odd. Odd characters, odd settings, confusing narrative, the ubiquitous flashbacks/forwards (which should be banned).

Oh god I so agree! When did this go from something Lost did, to something every single series does because it's easier than writing a good script?
