Page 1 of Veep Season 6
Television Forum
Just finished this, it took a couple of episodes to get back into the swing of things, but after that it had some of the funniest moments ever.
SPOILER:
Jonah hitting his head on his office ceiling perhaps my favourite!
Feels like this was the final season, which if so means it went out on a high.

That scene was so funny I rewound it five times. Possibly the most consistent comedy show out there. The put-downs were brutally hilarious - especially to the lesbian girlfriend - and the writing was always top-notch.

Yeah, I remember watching the first episode and not laughing at all. I was worried that Iannucci's absence had finally taken a hold, but thankfully it recovered after that.
The Qatar episode was one of the funniest and least politically correct things I've seen in years.
Still haven't watched the last 2 episodes yet, though.
Although I do still really like Veep, I do think it lost something when the 'Brits' left and when Selina was no longer president. The pace of it is too quick sometimes - American tv seems to have the tinniest attention span.
Veep, for me, has been usurped by Silicon Valley as my current fave American sitcom. Armando Iannucci had his own Silicon Valley based comedy in the pipeline before he was beaten to it, apparently.
Edit: Also, I would love it if Jonah eventually became president.

Do you think someone has looked at Trump vs Clinton and thought, Myer vs Ryan would be a good comic equivalent?

Didn't think of that but yes!
