I'd like to see him return to the more weird and wonderful stuff he used to do, but these serious shows make me aware of a lot of stuff I'd not know about otherwise.

A welcome return, his documentaries are always fascinating and I love his nonchalant style...

He has a way of asking probing, difficult or just plain blunt questions whilst looking completely innocent and childlike so you couldn't possibly get upset with him.

I enjoyed his last set of serious documentaries too.

at ATP the other year, he presented a Q and A after showing the return to the Porn Stars one, in real life he's like that as well! some people asked questions, and he genuinely seemed quite naive as he hadn't thought about some of the things that were raised.

I got my pic taken with him, and he genuinely seemed like one of those celebrities, a bit confused by his stardom, and seemed surprised an adult male would want a pic with him! he seemed even more surprised when I told him my missus loves him :) Her and her sister were v jealous :)

The first two shows are a two-parter about a month I spent meeting forensic patients at several large mental hospitals.
My Series Producer Jamie Pickup got us inside the Ohio Department of Mental Health and the stories of the people we met there were some of the most moving and fascinating that I've ever had the privilege of documenting.
The third show is unrelated to the first two - it's an exploration of the growing phenomenon of transgender kids in America. It's directed by a talented young director called Tom Barrow. We shot it in and around San Francisco, basing ourselves at a clinic that is pioneering an approach of early intervention for children who believe themselves to be born with the wrong anatomy.

That's amazing to meet him, I always wondered if he was really as he portrayed himself, or was he was just doing an acting personality which he put on during filming.

Always like his unusual documentaries.
