Eduardo injury

1mills (Elite) posted this on Saturday, 23rd February 2008, 14:12

We missed the initial challenge as we weren`t looking at the tv, but he`s absolutely f***ed by the looks of it.

Ignoring all Utd bias, it`s a shame because he has just started to settled and has been looking really good in recent weeks.

Walcott`s just banged in a second though, so maybe it`ll be good news for him.

For those with a curious nature, I`ve just been emailed the pics of Eduardo`s leg (really doesn`t look good).

Yeah, sorry meant to put a note before that one.

But was having trouble putting highlighting the link for the Url and then forgot.

Re: Eduardo

He could be lucky in the fact that I`m pretty sure that with the ankle injuries it can come out of the socket etc and look a lot worse than it actually is. I mean that in as much as he looks crippled there, but it`s not really clear what`s sticking out where, so hopefully he may make a recovery.

Heard about that injury - on Football Focus they were saying it was DaSilva for some reason?

It also sounded like it unsettled Arsenal for a while allowing Birmingham to go ahead. Nice work by Walcott though! (don`t have Sky Sport so I can`t see the game)

Then sadly you will have missed Maik Taylor being flattened by Adebayor when he scored the first goal then eh :D

Eduardo is Da Silva.

His name is Eduardo Da Silva, but he has Eduardo on the back of his shirt.

Best wishes to Eduardo in his recovery. Thankfully, as has been seen with Djibril Cisse, the doctors can do a pretty good job of fixing what is a horrific injury.

Didnt see it live, came into the game just as they took forsell off after eduardo had been shipped off to the hospital. Those pictures are pretty horrific, reminds me alot of that man city player (bust was it?) and a similar looking injury he got against man utd, that finished his career, lets hope things are better for this young lad
