Beat me to it.
Dr 42%er
Care in the football community is proved not to work.
It`s not easy being different. It`s not easy being cool....but somehow I manage....
RE: Allardyce departs Newcastle
Unsurprising, and much as I dislike Allardyce (mainly based on the corruption stuff and the fact he`s a moaning git), I have no sympathy at all for the average Newcastle fan who believes they have some sort of divine right to be near the top of the Premier League table.
I really really really (ad infinitum) hope that Shearer is appointed as the dream ticket and gets them relegated. Justice would then be served.
6 managers in 11 years says it all.

Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn...
And those who dance will spin and turn,
And those who wait will wait no more,
And those who talk will hear the words,
And those who see will fade and die,
And those who laugh will surely fall,
And those who know will always feel their backs against the thin wall...

Not surprised either and like above never did like him as a person, but the board need to look at themselves, Allerdyce and Newcastle were never a match for me, how many times are they gonna sign "hard men" who can get best out of players (souness anyone) instead of hiring a manager who played attacking sweeping football with emphasis on wide players?
RE: Allardyce departs Newcastle
Newcastle are weird as they seem to be a club who people think should be higher but have no real history to back this logic up. Im just hoping that he`s not the only manager to go in Jan, the sooner Rafa goes the better!!

:D That is exactly what my mate said before when he told me the news.
Why sack a manager now, when the risk of relegation is minimal and he`s only had 21 league games in charge.
I`ve said it before and I`ll say it again, he`s still only 7points behind Blackburn and 8points behind Portsmouth who are being raved about this season (although both have had tricky patches recently).
Where were they this time last season? Do they expect Newcastle to be competing for the champions league instantly?
Edit-

I`d go with their team
Given, Emre, Duff, Taylor, Geremi, Barton (cough, cough, shouldn`t have sacrificed Parker for him) Milner, Owen, Martins, Viduka, Smith, Nzogbia, Solano.
All good players, which is the usual argument for the fact that should be doing better.

Nobby now at West Ham
Too right he is, Sky Sports have an out of date list though and I quickly looked as I was trying to think of players and put it down without thinking :/

I think Shearer`s silence over speculation didn`t help Sam at all.
And now he`s gone, Shearer rules out Newcastle job.. :/

We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..

In fairness, Shearer probably really fancies the job but he`s thinking it may take some time to challenge for a champions league place, and if you only get 21games to prove yourself he`s probably going to have to win every single game this season ;)
