Does just what it says on the tin....

Take one glorious Brazilian Footballer, add some Jose Mourinho, a Splash of John Terry and voila.....we have a winner.

I`m a Man Utd fan, but I`d love to see Ronaldinho in the Premiership, even at Stamford Bridge.

The deal is far from being confirmed, however.

And the wages? £150,000/week is probable though I even heard mention of £200k/week(surely not). Money talks big time. If it ain`t a done deal it has to be done by midnight Friday I think is when the transfer window closes. I understand Roman is a friend of Ronaldinho`s club owner.

Pete.

Ronaldinho for £100M!?!! A few years ago maybe but not today.

He`s piled on the pounds too much. Let`s hope Chelsea do a Leeds....

Reports in England are saying a fee of around £84million - however, reports from Spain say Barca have not had contact and do not foresee that Chelsea would want to pay that much for the player

Re the wages - again English reports say £200k per week. However, given the likelihood that Terry Lampard maybe Ballack will have clauses saying that they have to be paid equal to the highest earner at the club it is more likely to be around £130k (what Terry and Lamoard got) with bonuses built in which would up it to £200k

Obviously its all conjecture and given Mourinho was on about cutting one from his squad by friday rather than adding to it then it`d suggest he has no intention of trying to get him (and / or Roman is doing another Shevchenko and buying who he wants not what the manager wants)

I`m a Chelsea fan (bet you never realised!) and I think that one player and a lot of hoo-ha don`t make a great team. However after watching some of his exquisite moves, he`s an undeniable talent. He does need to shed a few ounds and start a Jose style fitness regime and he`ll be top draw.

I`m excited for a change.

Physically, he looked more trim on the weekend against Racing, than he has done in months.

spot on

this is true but can he do it in a league significantly faster paced than he is used to and in a league where defenders and midfielders alike will let him know they are on the pitch along with him? That and of course the weather issues between November and February ;-)

After losing someone of Henry`s class from the league it would be good if he came and was a success (in his individual performances as opposed to his club achievements of course hehe) but i;m not sure he;s worth it financially and, as ive noted above, id have some doubts on how he;d adjust to the premier league
