Page 1 of Techtronics?

I have just told my mate about the Pioneer 340 they are selling which is region free and macro disabled

Has anyone bought this player from them?

Are the company OK?

Well i have just ordered a Sony NPV-300 model from Techtronics. My friend had a JVC 521 model and has had trouble free viewing so far. Their site is very informative and the choice is excellent for all budgets. I think you do a lot worse.

But do a search on this forum first before buying ;-)

I`ve said it before and I`ll say it again - A couple of friends have bought from them and needed to send their players back. One player disappeared for 4 months, the other was returned quickly but without the discs that Techtronics asked to be included in the return. Those discs still haven`t been returned and it`s now several months on.

So, if you don`t get a lemon, you`ll be fine. If you need aftersales, be afraid, be very afraid ...

I didn`t have any problems.

If the aftersales is dodgy, perhaps visiting their shop in person is a good idea (if you are close!). It`s near Peterborough.

I Ordered 2 ixos cables from this excuse of a company, after 10 days and still no cables I cancelled the order, finally getting my money back nearly 2 months after I ordered. I would NOT order from this outfit ever again if they were selling ixos cables at £1 a dozen. I`d never get em anyway!!!

Not heard many nice things about Them, there have been some real horrer stories on this forum. A reliable place to buy a player would be www.multiregionmagic.co.uk. Got my player from them, I will be purchasing another player from them next week as well as getting my brothers one chipped/hacked by them.
