Retailer Reviews Forum
Anyone had dealing with dvdimport. Getting a refund is like getting blood from a stone. Never answer your emails I had to eventually ring Canada to ask for my refund. I have since placed another order which they could not fulfil and since November I still have not got a refund. I have now learnt my lesson.
I too have been waiting for an order since 23/11/03!!!
They refuse to answer my e-mails etc.
Suppose I will now have to phone Canada like you!!!
Needless to say I won`t be using them again!
2 months after Once upon a Time in the West was released my pre-order still had not arrived, no reply to e-mails so I say let your credit card company sort it out. These guys are second only to Splash for ignoring customer requests.
RE: DVD Import- Refunds
had my fingers burnt by these guys about 18 months ago - they may be cheap, but their customer service is beyond shoddy. When I requested a refund by phone, I was actually laughed at ! Luckily I only lost about £4, so I didn`t bother fighting it.
These guys are worse than splash. They didnt send my dvd which I had on order and when I eventually got through and asked for a refund, they said it would take a while and it would be better for me to get another title. Eventually picked another title for which they charged me the difference. I will use splash again but not this lot.

Yeah.. their email support blows so hard I can`t keep my hat on..
But yeah, they are cheap and you should keep an eye out if they have the item you`re buying in stock or not. If it`s in stock they`ll post it very fast, but if it isn`t it`ll take days and weeks and months :p
