Cyberhome 401 Divx DVD player for £17.49!!!

I picked up one of these excellent machines a week or so ago from the Wimbledon branch of WH SMITH reduced from £69.99 to the knock down bargain price of £17.49!

There may be a few still knocking about in some of the larger branches if you are lucky.

FAREWELL TO THE KING-DVD!

Just picked up the R2 prism release of this John Milius war epic,picture qualitys pretty good for a budget release,very sharp,nice stereo soundtrack!

This movie could have been even better if the producers hadn`t decided to re-edit the movie against the directors wishes.

Apparently John Milius is trying to buy back the rights,so a directors cut could appear someday.

If you look hard enough you can indeed pick up this disc without buying the box set.

I saw a copy in the window of CHEAPO,CHEAPO RECORDS in Soho,London only a few weeks ago,I think they only wanted about £6 too

It`s worth checking this out if you live in or around London.

My copy of the Region 1 Republic Pictures release clearly states an R rating on the back,but at least it`s longer than the Region 2 release which was cut by the BBFC.

I bet Reese Witherspoon has now omitted this one from her CV!
