Can anyone recommend an alternative to this excellent piece of software as it ain`t compatable with Windows 7
I used to use Alcohol many moons ago, what do you use it for? I use imgburn for writing/reading/creating Iso files and I use InfraRecorder for Writing CDs and DVDs. Both program`s are free and fairly easy to use.

Imgburn FTW. At the start, it may seem a tad complicated, but once you set up a cue sheet once, for example, it`s dead easy.

I use imgburn in tandem with DVDFab. Never fails.
I guess what you are using it for determines what we should recommend. Are you just mounting ISOs? Or copy protected disk images? Are you making your own images from copy protected media to mount? Or just using pre-existing ones you already have?

Use VirtualCloneDrive for creating virtual drives.

Easy and free.
For burning, use ImgBurn.
