Anyone else experiencing problems with the latest version of Ad-aware? When I try to run it I get the following message...
"Error while loading the Ad-aware reference-file"
If I then try to update, I get the option to download the new reference file "Build:000001 26.10.2002, Date:26.10.2002". Shouldn`t it be 2004?
If I attempt to download, it gets to 5% but hangs there for ages & goes no further!!! Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem yesterday. Ended up uninstalling it and installing Ad-aware SE personal 1.05 instead, from www.download.com
The updates for that worked fine

Yea, I had the same problem too, about 2 days ago, haven`t tried it since though.
Should we all really be upgrading to the SE edition now then?

Yep, Same here, only mine Coincided with loading SP2 for XP. I to switched to the SE version, this appears to be working OK

LOL I should have known that as soon as I said I had no probs that this would happen :p I`ve d/loaded the new version and all seems well. :)

Mee tooh now, although I got the SE Professional 1.04 as couldn`t find the pro 1.05 Engrish version ;)
