XP User Accounts

Is there any way to delete the user accounts in XP to just leave the default administrator.

I have everything set up on that account, but thought i would create a couple for the family, and now i cannot access any of my emails through outlook (which was set up to the default administrator).

Recomendation for a new dvd player

The problem so far:

I am in the process of backing up my collection (to protect them from the kids) and my current dvd player LG3350e has just started juddering whilst playing back the last few on ritek G05 (it plays G04`s no problem). They all play fine on my computer, so i am asuming that the player is not up to it.

i am looking for a new dvd player, that will play 8x dvd-r without any problem sub £100.
Can anyone give any recomendations

LG dvd3350E problem?

I have just bought some (x8) Ritek G05 inkjet printable Dvd-Rs from SVP
I have burn`t them using Nero on a NEC2510A.
The discs will play ok on my computer using Power dvd, but have a tendancy to jerk and judder when played back on my dvd player.

Is this a problem with my player?, or am i doing something wrong.

I have the extrenal case and a NEC 2510A from SVP running on a 2.0Ghz Celeron toshiba laptop through a USB 1 conection, and I can watch dvds and surf the net while backing up.

I had the same problem yesterday. Ended up uninstalling it and installing Ad-aware SE personal 1.05 instead, from www.download.com

The updates for that worked fine

Internet Explorer Help

I appear to have deleted internet explorer from my computer (currently running XP Pro SP1).
I have tried to reinstall IE6 but keep getting the message saying that there is a newer version of this program installed, and then setup stops.

Can anyone recomend a solution.

I am currently using Firefox, but some sites will not recognise this, mainly wondows updates etc.

Internet Explorer Problem

I installed Mozilla Firefox about a week ago, but since this morning i have not been able to connect to the internet using IE6. I just get a box stating that i can work offline or try again, which does not seem to work.

Can anyone recomend a solution

Does anyone know how to convert a xvid file (XP states it is a winamp media file) to work on a standard dvd player (LG3350E). I have Nero 6 and dvdshrink etc

Any help would be appreciated (sp)

I am looking to at getting a dvd writer and i have narrowed it down to either the Pioneer DVR 107 or the NEC ND2500a could anyone recomend one, as well as some discs to write to as i have no idea which to use

I was thinkning of buying The Abyss Special Edition R4, but was wondering, is this the same version as R2 as the disk is dual coded.If it is, should I buy the R1 version . Are there any sites which compare the different cuts in each country.

Which DVD player?

You have probably had this or similar questions already.

What i would like to know is should i but the LG DVD3350e or get the Hitachi 505?

All i am really interested in at the moment is which player has the best picture and sound, it`s going to be connected to a porline 28" 4:3 TV.

Additional features such as MP3 CD-R/CD-RW/ VCD etc, are not important yet.
