Looking to buy a new PC and have just seen the latest avert from Time in the morning paper. XP2700 processor, 512MB ram, 128 graphics, 120 Gb HD, DVD writer, DVD rom and 17" monitor for £750. I am quite tempted but was wondered if anyone has any exprience of this firm.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Worst company I have ever dealt with !!!
Awfull customer service they will do anything to refuse to take back faulty items evn with warranty , please this post from another site I contribute to http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Vent;action=display;num=1066429332

They were so hated by their own staff they even started their own web site against them.
They never answer the phone when you have a problem and leave you waiting on expensive premium line of at least 10 p a minute or more.
They will expect you to take the machine apart to find problems and expect you to download diagnostic programmes.
God forbid you change your system to NTFS which will invalidate any warranty or so I was told.
I have had horrendous problems with this bunch of sharks and I suggest you go and find a good local shop or consider building your own.
If not pick a company such as Dell or Mesh.
However there will be a lot of changes in the next year with updates ect so make sure it can be upgraded in some way .
Hope this helps

I couldn`t agree more, with all of the above. I don`t want to spend too much `time` on this subject, otherwise it`d spoil my Sunday. Bunch o` wt[at]st!!!

Dear me they must be bad!
Thanks for the replies, looks like I`ll have to look elsewhere to spend my pennies.

Time are rubbish. I went to this place, got more value for my money, excellent delivery, customer services and helpline.

This company is also known as Pctogo.co.uk.
Prices aren`t bad for customising but its what the actual pcs are like.

Ok then Chris (see above) -what do you suggest we should be paying for a similarly specified machine (and where from!)
