Another PS3 here, but also a small media pc with a blu-ray rw drive. Not had much luck with stand alone players, had two that were returned within a week because of faults, that`s what convinced me to buy the pc.

I got a PS3 a few years back but also bought a Blu Ray for the bedroom that was Wifi enabled to stream stuff from the NAS.

Just picked up a £40 Samsung. Probably wouldn`t have done so at a higher price-point.

i got mine as Richer Sounds were doing a deal when I bought my Panasonic TV, where you got a Panasonic Blu Ray player 1/2 price, I probably wouldn`t have bothered otherwise, but glad I did, at the time it was one of the cheaper ones, I think they sold it for 150 so got it for 75.
since then got a PS3 as well, both are hooked up to same TV, only HDTV we have in house.

Trying to get out of the whole buying discs thing, so sticking with DVD until I`ve ripped my collection. Won`t be going Blu-Ray, or any other physical media in the future.
