SKY PLUS TWIN RECORD FEATURE
Sky today have completed the upgrades to the Sky + boxes enabling the ability to record 2 channels and watch a third.
It gets better and better there must be a catch like another price rise!
An update , I have found out you cannot watch a third but have to watch one of the two you record.
But still a good product

RE: SKY PLUS TWIN RECORD FEATURE
didnt think u could watch a third? only somehting you`ve previously recorded (only two signals go into the back, and you`d need three to watch/record 3 seperate channels surely?)
RE: SKY PLUS TWIN RECORD FEATURE
prices go up again either jan or feb mate.
RE: SKY PLUS TWIN RECORD FEATURE
Can someone please explain the current deal?
Already have Sky digital.
Upgrade for £199-00?
How much is installation?
How much is monthly subscription if already pay maximum for all channels on sky digital?
RE: SKY PLUS TWIN RECORD FEATURE
just had an engineer around to fix my sky dish and he recons sky are dropping the 199quid price tag and will offer it with free installation and you pay an extra 10quid a month for 12 months :D if that happens i`ll probably get it myself.

RE: SKY PLUS TWIN RECORD FEATURE
Have all Sky+ boxes been upgraded, and how do you know if it has been? I was vaguely expecting to get some sort of message to say it had happened.
OK it has happened. Just tried the obvious - attempted to record two chanels simultaneously. However if you then want to watch a 3rd channel you have to cancel one of the recordings.
Useful upgrade!

RE: SKY PLUS TWIN RECORD FEATURE
The current deal is £199 with installation for a quid if you relocate your original Sky box which is an extra 10 quid a month for the extra subscription.

I think this is exactly what Sky will do - most of my mates have Sky, but I know no one with Sky +.
