Despite all the negative messages you may have seen on this forum, I recommend the Scan 2000 from www.scan.co.uk, mine is excellent.

I HAVE GOT THE MATSUI 110 AND I WOULDN.T RECOMEND IT TO ANYONE.
I PANIC BAUGHT IT WHEN MY FANTASTIC TOSHIBA MACHINE REFUSED TO PLAY "THE PATRIOT" DVD WITH RTC.
THE MATSUI HAS A VERY GRAINY PICTURE.IS VERY SLOW READING THE DISC WHEN YOU LOAD IT.
AND IT FREEZES ON THE MENU ON SOME OF MY DISCS.

SO DONT BUY MATSUI....

P.S. DOES THE AIWA PLAY RCE DISCS?

Samsung 611 - it`s a cracking, easy-hacking player, with CD-R/RW and MP3 support too. The only slight bugbear is the lack of Macrovision disablement.

Merry Christmas!
