It should work, and maybe you have the same problem as me, the
XD-DV370 can only read NTSC DVD, so PAL dvd wont work even if you puted the good region.
To check if the region hack work: when you use the hack, does it ask for the code ?
Also try to put for example a region1 dvd with a region2 setup then it should print something like: not good region.
If you put the good region: The print out will change as: check disc
