I do miss taping stuff, screening out adverts, creating a home video library without buying anything prerecorded. I’d even cut out promo imagery from the Radio Times and paste it onto the card sleeves. Got quite a few special broadcasts onto tape that never got home video releases.
These days I might PVR something to time shift, less now with iPlayer, but I never record anything to keep, even though I bought a DVD recorder.
