some of you, like the culprits here I'd imagine, have never heard of Netscape, but remember, if you're going to copy and paste, proof reading, and understanding what you're copying is still a good idea:

Officials accused of copying and pasting chunks of text into Brexit deal agreement

Experts have spotted buried within page 921 of the UK-EU trade document references to dated computer software in the agreement which are decades old.
Referencing encryption technology, it mentions Netscape Communicator as a "modern e-mail software package" - last updated in 2002.
It also recommends the use of SHA-1 as a "hash algorithm" despite the fact it was depreciated in 2011.
The references have led experts to believe key texts have been copied and pasted from old documentation due to the lack of time to secure a deal.

Who are the authors of the agreement?

"Officials"
it's a bit vague, whoever they are, they're a bit lazy, but I guess if they were working on it Christmas day I can see why they would want to get something as unimportant as this done and dusted quickly.

On a serious note though, what are our MP's actually voting on? I assume they're voting on the contents of a many hundred page document that it now appears to contain references to things that simply don't exist anymore? Any others?

We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..

Something not as good as we have now, with the alternative being something hugely awful.

tldr:
Eel exporter (who is already doing pretty well selling to EU thank you very much) becomes poster 'boy' for UKIP by voting out so he can sell more (already very endangered) eels to rest of world and reduce red tape.
Surprise, surprise, all the new, increased red tape (what?) means EU no longer want his eels and he can't sell to rest of world because they won't buy fish which are endangered.

Good question.
You know that will be replicated more on the other side though, right?

Why does it matter what side it's on? It's friction to trade either way.
