Page 1 of Would you sail in the Titanic 2 ?
General Forum
Some Australian Billionare has decided to get a replica of the Titanic built in China Shipyards, to be use for tourism, and wants to name it the Titanic 2.
Would you ever want to sail in a ship of that name, with such a history behind it ?
I could not, as I am to supersticious.

No problem.. This would be sailing around the south pacific, no not much chance of another iceberg incident..
The only doubt would be the Chinese build standard..

RE: Would you sail in the Titanic 2 ?
Apparently there were major problems with the design that made the boat much more likely to sink if holed (which obviously came to pass) so I hope that it would only be superficially like the original. And so, for that reason, I`m oooooot!

How about the `Perfect massive wave` to take it out side-on and turn turtle.... AKA: `Posidion adventure style`
Just naming a boat `Titanic` is asking for it.

Has he not seen the film? It sinks as well - well, I think it does but I didn`t watch it either...
