IN MADNESS YOU DWELL

This is the second piece of genuinely upsetting news I`ve heard this week.  Lis Sladen was an adolescent crush for me.  My favourite Doctor Who companion.  I`m in shock after this one, and I thought I`d been poleaxed after hearing about double-dip Bond Girl Angela Scoular`s passing last week (apparently at her own hands).

I know a lot of people get sniffy about celebrities` deaths, but when somebody passes who`s been a familiar part of your life for years, you`ve got to feel something.

RIP both ladies, and my sympathies to Lis` husband Brian and daughter Sadie, and Angela`s husband Leslie (Phillips) and her son Daniel.

I just heard about Lis` death this morning. Apparently she had cancer, I didn`t know. Absolutely gutted over this one.

Very sad news RIP. SJA was that rarest of things, a quality kids drama that us big kids could really enjoy without feeling short-changed. And as for School Reunion, one of my favourite episodes from the reign of 10.
