Page 1 of POLL: Should Paul Gascoigne be sentenced to Jail for 4x over limit

Paul Gascoigne was found guilty of drinking whilst driving. He was around 4 times over the legal limit. Should he be sent to Jail, or given even more help or do you think he is beyond help?

Of course he should. he`s a repeat offender and as such is a danger to the public. The fact that he used to be quite nifty at kicking a little leather ball around is completely irrelevant. He`s been given plenty of chances and has squandered them.

However.
Yes he should be jailed and yes he needs help but until the decision is his and he hits what for him is rock bottom then he`s beyond help.

Having been the victim of a drink driver, and left with permanent problems from the accident, then my opinion is an obvious yes.

Furthermore, I think anybody who is 4 times over the legal limit and driving, should receive an instant lifetime ban.

At the end of the day if he`s behind the wheel in that state and my Wife & Daughter are walking down the street, He`s a risk to them and any other person so LOCK HIM UP for his own good.

I voted yes, but it will do him no good, just like George Michael, they will have a death sentence when their livers are shot, the same way out as George Best

If he`d gone to jail, I`d have taken him a dressing gown and some chicken.

I think he should have gone down and been banned for life.  There`s no excuse for drinking and driving IMO.
