Having that day today, laptop is running like a goat only barely any pages loading or if they any links clicked get blocked\take an age to load.

Can`t find the backup drive due to the move.

So truely fecked is the word.

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

Its a scary thought if the internet just disappeared one day and we couldnt use it - the world would change, i would change and the people around me would change. Maybe i would go for a walk in the park instead of watching someone walking in the park on the internet...

My personal internet? I`d survive.

The entire internet? There would quite literally be riots in the street as the people deduce that the government has gone commie on them and shut down all lines of communication.

Either that or obese american kids will finally get off their arses and get out of their mom`s basements

As a journalist, I would basically be out of a job. At least, until people realised they needed newspapers again!
