Sad I think.

And it says he was 42. I thought he was mid 30s...

What that guy went through recently was horrendous, losing his girlfriend, suspicion (originally) of murder and then possible police charges for possession of drugs.

Can be said that he brought it on himself, but nobody deserves to go through that

RIP

Agreed. Ms Collins` death was a tragic accident (drowned in the bath after a heavy session), but to discover her body and to know it could have easily been avoided would be enough to consume someone with more than enough guilt.

Can`t help but feel sorry for the guy. Last few days must have been very lonely for him.

Sad news but not realy unexpected, its a realy sad loss.

I know smart was a kids show but I always watched it if it was on, took me back to my days of being glued to `take hart` and `hart beat` as a kid being encouraged to be creative, Mark Speight was Tony Hart for the kids now, enthusiastic, talented and he came across as a realy nice bloke, I cant imagine what his life has been like for the past few months

I hope the BBC repeat his programmes on kids tv, his passion for art and his enthusiasm should not be lost too

Thanks Mark

Am I meant to be sad because he was a famous dealer?

nope.. because two young people partied in much the same way that a lot of other ones do, and one of them died. the other one, wracked with guilt, or a broken heart, then killed himself.

it might not be the right thing, or the legal thing, but for many people its become the norm to seriously cane it. what happened to them could happen to nearly anyone. it really is sad.
