George Foreman Grills - Biggest?
I already have a George Foreman Grill with a cookplate measuring about 22cm square and it`s absolutely fantastic but in heinsight it`s too small for all the grilled veg & meat we like to cook (doing WeightWatchers so eating loads veg, grilled chicken etc.). We have to take it in shifts.
I`d like to buy the biggest, best value one I can, especially as we`re moving house soon and will be without any proper cooking facilities for about 6 weeks. I think we can cope as I have a steamer, microwave, slow cooker and the grill.
Can anyone give me details of their grills cookplate dimentions with the cost and place they bought it?
Thanks
Jill

RE: George Foreman Grills - Biggest?
We got one a year gone Xmas, it`s called Big George Jumbo, or Jumbo George. They`re about £70 but every so often Currys have them on a half price promotion, that`s when we got ours. It`s BIG...does about 8 steaks I think it said, something like that. It`s white, and round, but maybe that one above it the later version or something.
This is the one we have:

My folks got the Big BBQ one from COSTCO C&C about 2 years ago, can`t remember the exact name but looks similiar to this one at Tesco. But I think they paid about £60 for it. They`ve used it both in doors and out (weather permitting).
see tesco`s one
The first one died after 9 months probably because they overloaded it with food and the second is still going strong.
Ahhhhhh... I can smell the food grilling already!

socks_uk :)
Have a wee swatch at http://www.price-drop.tv
They had a double GF grill a few days ago, quite a good price as far as I remember (£35 ?). Try using the search option and you may find a bit more information regarding the one they have.

I guess the thread stops here! Not because jc808 thinks it`s the `worst topic ever` but because I`ve bought one.
I managed to buy a `brand new` one that someone was selling on our local newspapers auction site (stuff4saleingrimsby).
It`s the `Double Knockout` grill with the twin lids that both have a temp gauge on them. I paid £45 and it`s brand new, still in it`s box.
I`ll still keep my old one until we`ve had a new kitchen fitted in the bungalow we`re moving into.
Thanks everyone,
Jill
These were spotted in Argos store:
