It was one of those games that even though we were playing like s***, I thought we`d still win it. We were the better team, but got punished for not turning it up a gear. Just completely lacking in ideas, much like the last game against Villa.
Good luck to them - maybe this is the kick up the arse Spurs need after a few shoddy displays.

When we`ve got players like Mendes not pulling on the shirt we deserve to loose. How can Reid, Brown and Jenas get in before him. >:(

Jenas wasn`t too bad I didn`t think. Brown was s***e, and Davis disappeared when he replace Carrick.

We (Villa) won 8 - 3 :o :o :o Dunno whether to laugh at our awesome second half comeback or cry because we were 3 - 1 down at half time to bloody Wycombe :/

Aye, well done Grimsby, thoroughly deserved.
Have to agree, why was Mendes not playing? Punishment for speaking out in the last week? Jenas was ok, Brown was crap, Reid yet again was abysmal and Defoe needs to be dropped for the Fulham game. Mido and Keane should start, Keano deserves his chance.

Grimsby deserved as they simply fought for every ball like their lives depended on it. If you do that in a one-off game you will always stand a chance no matter how superior the opposition. It was Grimsby`s cup-final.
Mickey mouse cup anyway. ;) :D
