Family legend has it that my uncle was the man that "invented" deep fried Mars bars! I`d have to check, but I`m fairly sure he was the bloke whose picture appeared in The Sun when the news first came out. :D

I was up in Edinburgh for the weekend and had some haggis for breakfast. Delicious. Quite peppery. :-)
(playing golf at Dalmahoy. Didn`t go for the drinking at all. Well, I did really..) ;)

Id never had it untill about a year ago, on one of my meets of fellow internet perverts, we rented a cottage out in the wilds of the Yorkshire moors and as there was a few scots coming down they decided to have a haggis night ..I was a bit unsure but thought what the hell, I`ll try it and if I dont like it I wont have it again...but it was realy nice, and I now I have one quite regular (its great cold with chilli sauce ;))

I`ll have to keep a look out for the haggis pizza lol

"HaGGis! pizza": he may have some differing opinions on things, but I think he`s a decent enough guy - cooking him and putting him on a pizza is really taking things a bit too far... ;)

ASDA do some smashing Pork and Haggis (note the small g`s) sausages in their Extra Special range. Easily as nice as their Lincolnshires and Cumberlands <<insert Hannibal Lecterish slurp>>.
