What a great race!
RE: Paula Radcliffe Wins New York Marathon
Indeed, she did well. :)
You were almost as quick off the mark as those who couldn`t to post just to slag her off in the summer.

Agreed! Can`t hear them rushing to congratulate her now after their earlier moronic comments :p

Yes, well done to Paula, great race to watch too...and I was one of those slagging her off because of her `performance` in Athens.
She`s proved she can do it in the big-city, `exhibition`, marathons, let`s hope when it comes to a real race, like the World Champs or Olympics she can still do it.
Let`s set the standards for UK athletes a little higher than this, it`ll be forgetten in few weeks, an Olympic medal is remembered for life!

I missed it, where they allowed to stop and sit in an armchair every now and again or something? Or borrow a wheelchair for various downhill sections?

Obviously, did you see her time?? hee hee
You know this `fun run` ;) doesn`t have a title or anywhere near the same qudos as an Olympic or or World Championship. It`s nothing that will stand the test of time...
