I`ve often thought of myself as a jinx because i seem to mess up the favourites when it comes to betting, today I had a 4-horse accumulator, 3 of them were favourites every one of them came outside the top 5, I had west ham to be promoted and lost £120(even though I initially thought CP would do it,but my brother made me doubt my choice) I then put £150 on Paris st G to win I won £50 so now i`m just £70 down instead of £120, I put £140 on huddersfield vs wakefield-rugby- to win cause I desperately need my money back but i jinx them I`m now £220 down and i really need the money..my own fault I know..I`ve not paid my rent or any bills yet and I`ve virtually no money I badly need a great win I`m in such a s***ty situation. Believe it or not I used to work part time a few years ago and used to just live off my winnings but then I just seemed to hit a losing streak, now everything i bet on turns to s***, if I bet on Arsenal against a pub team then Arsenal would get beat.

It`s not called gambling for nothing. :o
Obviously you should never bet what you cannot afford to lose. :)
My dad gambles for fun, and what he does is put £100 in a pot at the start of the footie season, and sees if he can come out on top at the end a year later. That gives him ten £10 bets, and he usually gets to bet more than ten times as he wins every now and again.
Your not that bloke from Eastenders are you?

I think, just maybe, you have a serious gambling problem. Addiction is a terrible thing. If you gamble my friend, sooner or later you`ll lose.
Best solution is, don`t gamble. Not even the lottery. And if you can`t stop, seek professional help.

You need help mate, And you`ve made the first right move by admitting it, Advice and counselling is available where you live, but it`s having the gut`s to make that `First move`.
But as for saying that your a `Jinx` why???, You must know that gambling is a mug`s game, in time you will lose, But the more time you leave it, the more you will lose.
Do something about it now, today. Just don`t hope that the thing will go away, or you can hide it?, seek help....
RE: I`ve lost so much on gambling
The worst thing you can do when you lose is to gamble again to try and win. You need to cut your losses at some point and just stop! Where I work, we sell scratchcards, and you can see the people who don`t know when to stop, buying more and more to try to win back what they`ve wasted. Thats why I hate any of them that cost more than a pound, its too easy to lose large sums of money pretty quick.
Yer hardly an out of control gambler.
I gamble every day, on line.
Some days a fiver, some days up to £30.
Won £150 on a horse the other day.
Often win smaller amounts.
Over the piece,I`m always `up` on the deal.
