Page 1 of KYWY - A STATEMENT .

I have in the past expressed my concerns about the aggressive attitude of some members and the ill feeling they generate, your feedback suggests that many of you feel the same way.
In almost 800 posts I have enjoyed many friendly exchanges but I do not feel that the situation in respect of unwarranted personal attacks has improved or will improve.

As perhaps a few of you are aware, I unfortunately do not enjoy the best of health and were I not so ill, no doubt the stress caused by such unpleasant attacks would be less of a problem.
So although I hope to keep visiting DVD Reviewer, this is my last post on these forums.

I hope you change your mind mate. I would suspect the majority would rather you stayed as a poster and just ignore flames or whatever comes your way like that.

Would agree with what richmarch said.

I know it can be sometimes be difficult to ignore inflammatory posts but its usually best to not give encouragement to the posters by replying to the worst messages.

2 reasons not to go mate -

1. The people you are talking about are f*cking idiots, and the majority of the people here just laugh at the moronic bullsh*t that they post, I agree that they deliberately try to wind people up by insulting them, but the reason they`re so hostile and ignorant is because deep down they KNOW that they`re f*cking idiots and that their opinions are just regurgitated bullsh*t from the front page of The Sun!, you`re definitely not the only one to get p*ssed off by their presence!

2. By refusing to post you automatically forfeit the w*sp war and the WEA win!

If statements are made about certain individuals being banned, why are they not upheld. I appreciate it is not easy to always uphold `the law`, well, the forum`s rule`s, but of late, moderator presence is lacking. A lot of stuff has been said of late that I was surprised stayed on until loads of EDITED comments appeared. Shouldn`t have to rely on mods on this forum.
Behave yourself everyone and respect each other.

Secondly to the best of my knowledge have not insulted/flamed with /or swore at KYWY.

I can`t remember even having a run in with him,so don`t blame me.

Front page of the Sun today consisted of pictures of the coffins and the names of dead British servicemen being returned to their familys to be buried.

kywy`s point is not that you have personally attacked him.
It is, I think, that so many posts of late result in personal attacks. Your Brighton one being one example.

I also hope you change your mind. Although we don`t know each other your sense of humour has kept me smiling the past week.

I know what an unpleasant atmosphere can be like, I own a flat in a council block and the tenant who is my neighbour is a drug dealing piece of s**te, who has burgled me, smashed my windows, keyed my car and hurls abuse whenever she and her kids get the chance. Neither the council nor the police have enough evidence (even though several of us have witnessed deals) to do anything. I am not saying this to get a response from anyone but to let you know that I appreciate what you're feeling right now.

Again I hope you change your mind and continue to post here, I hope that you can ignore the minority of people who like to cause trouble here and enjoy what for most of us is a pleasant pastime.
