Page 1 of 360 died for second time
Gaming and Consoles Forum
Yep me 360 died on the weekend. Freezes. red screen and some lovely squares on the screen. Brilliant!
Now waiting for the man from UPC to collect and take back to M$ for an autopsy.
This is the second time its happened since December. M$ replaced the unit last time so will be interesting to see what happens this time. I am getting concerned that this may happen again once the warranty expires.
This time I would ask them to send you a memory card so you dont have to keep losing them, because thats taking the p***.
Where do you keep your 360, out of interest? Is it well ventilated?
What im listening to (if youre interested)
Its on its own shelf underneath the tv. The cabinet has no sides so should be more than adequately ventilated. If it isnt then my finger points towards M$`s bullsh** design
RE: 360 died for second time
I am still on my original launch day machine and not had so much as a freeze yet so definitely sounds like bad luck but mention to them its your 2nd console and maybe you will be able to get a free memory card or controller out of them.
my launch day 360 died last sunday, took it back to gamestation, got a new one, why do people send the 360s back to MS? just take it back to the shop you got it from
Thats a bit difficult when Comet are point blank refusing to accept it back. I tried threatening Citizens Advice and they said they cant deal with it but will happily send it back to Microsoft on my behalf!
Seems like maybe their is a design problem here perhaps?
My launch machine has finally died, off to Game in the morning.
Edit: On the same day Microsoft admit design faults and extend warranties.
Is that the time? Damn you Xbox 360!!!!
