The teaser trailer for Gareth Edwards' reboot of Godzilla has surfaced online. The links keep going down, though, so this might be offline before I even post it...

Wow, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this.
Is Gareth Edwards the guy that made Monsters on a shoestring?
I found the last Godzilla movie just awful popcorn rubbish, this looks more serious. :) I guess xmas next year for the Blu-ray before I watch it.

It's good as long as you don't expect Pacific Rim.
It is a small character drama first and foremost, with only a few scenes with monsters.

That's music to my ears, as kind of liked Pacific Rim, but actually far preferred Cloverfield over it. I hated Peter Jackson's King Kong aswell
I actually didn't really enjoy Monsters (feel I should watch it again as wasn't in the mood).

Woah!!
Hhhmmmm.
That's just a little too OTT for me.
I know it's a big 'scare the little kid in you' movie and let's go along for the ride but still.
The voice of the lead actor seems to be aiming for the Spinal Tap 11 and his acting in general seems straight out of the Vincent Price/Victorian melodrama drawer.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary
