Page 1 of Heroes - The Series

My son and I have been watching our way through this series on DVD. We have one DVD left to go, with the final 3 episodes of series 4 on it.
I need to know. Are we left up in the air, wondering what he hell it was all about, or does it get rounded up properly in the final episode?
We really enjoyed the first two seasons, but it just went haywire after that...

Seeing as you want to know.... from what I remember, the last series is nowhere near as `bad` as the previous one but yes, you`re completely left hanging as it was cancelled without them knowing there wouldn`t be any more. In fact, it ends on a real "Well, where are they going to take it from here, this could be good...??"....
Sorry, you did ask.. :)

We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..
Season 1 was brilliant up to the final episode, which was a massive let down.
First half of season 2 was horrendous then it got slightly better.
Season 3 had a few moments, but every time it got half interesting they ruined it again.
Didn`t even bother with season 4.

I was taking it for granted that it got cancelled, and have warned my son that this would be the case, but we are determined to see it through to the bitter end! The last disc has just arrived from Lovefilm, so we`ll probably watch the final three episodes tonight.
We did so enjoy season 1, but I totally agree with the comments above about the following seasons.
This carnival they invented for season 4 is really annoying me.
The show never recovered from the writers` strike in season 2. Pity, as the first season promised some great things.

Yes. Watched the last three episodes last night. Shame it went so haywire.
I don`t think we would have bothered if it hadn`t been for Hiro Nakamura, whom we both loved! Great character, shame about some of his tedious storylines.

Hiro was the one thing that kept me going, lost interest with most of the other characters.
And, yeah, the whole carnival thing was tedious...

I didn`t mind the carnival thing, it was at least a new direction. But I`m glad it got cancelled for the reason Chris pointed out, the writers strike seemed to kill it off.
I know a lot of people were moaning about the pace of season 2 before the strike, but I was enjoying it, and when they just had the season cut short and reacted to the moaning it became a show without direction.

Microsoft in talks to bring Heroes back on their XBox TV channel, or something like that anyway:
