Prometheus

The teaser trailer for Ridley Scott`s Space Jockey origin story/sort-of prequel to Alien, is online...

Oh God, this is a good week for trailers! Even though I was against exploring the space jockey mythology, this has become my most anticipated film of 2012. Looks awesome!

And I thought I was gonna see a dodgy matt painting of a ship from Stargate SG-1 ;)

And you can now add snow to trailers.

Now this does look very promising. I didn`t even realise he was doing a prequel.

For me the Alien saga will always end with Aliens, every film after that was major disappointment after disappointment. If Scott can`t make a decent sequel/prequel then get Cameron back for one more and if he fails, lets give up!

I`m one of the few people who really enjoyed Alien 3 (as much as, if not more, than Aliens!).
I loved the concept of those inmates stranded in a pretty hostile environment with little or no weapons to defend themselves with.

Alien 4 on the other hand was a pile of tosh.

Well... I liked all four, including Resurrection *ducks*

Now we must await the one person who liked the AVP films :D

Surely no-one will publicly admit to that?!? :)

Even my mate (who was responsible for the shot of the ship uncloaking at the end - all 3 seconds of it :)) admits that it`s a p1ss poor film.

AVP was fine if you took it a cheesey mix of the two films! (runs for hard hat)

I was trying to put my finger on whose voice Guy Pearce reminded me of.  Suddenly got it - John Carson (Captain Kronos).  Either that or James Mason.
