Page 1 of The most Boring feature on a DVD ever!!!!!!!

The Composer commentry on The 6th Day is the most pointless ,boring thing i have ever heard. Its some old fart talking about how he composed the sountrack. YAWn . I love film commentriers but this is crap.

I thought the composer commentry on Gladiator was interesting....

I`m all for commentaries by the composer, and especially soundtrack -only special features, but the least interesting stuff is generally the trailer, or `making of` featurette that often comes with the DVD. Not much point in having one trailer for a film you`ve just bought, or watched (much better to have a selection of different trailers as it`s nice to see how they market the film to different audiences). As for the worst `making of`, take a look at the amateurish and badly edited effort they`ve stuck on at the end of Alien Resurrection. And why are we still seeing `Scene Selection` as a special feature?

Has to be those featurettes you get that are basically a re-hash of the trailers that you may well have just watched.

Some extras like that can get painfully repetative.

The most boring feature on a DVD has to be the biographies, I can`t be bothered to read that crap.

Commentaries are usually great my faves are...

I don`t know about boring but the commentary on Crouching Tiger almost put me off the film. It sounded as though the writer was a bit ashamed of his material and was putting it down. Perhaps he felt he`d been slumming it.

the worst ever has to be on all quiet on the western front it says trailer but is actually an advert for others in the collection!
