"Snakes on a Plane" anticipation thread

xfg (Elite Donator) posted this on Tuesday, 14th February 2006, 16:06

Browsing through the guest cast for "Extras" last year, I click on Samuel L. Jackson`s name... and am confronted with the single most genius movie title of film-making history.

It`s *snakes* on a motherf***ing *plane*! www.imdb.com/title/tt0417148/

"On board a flight over the Pacific Ocean, an assassin, bent on killing a passenger who`s a witness in protective custody, let loose a crate full of deadly snakes. "

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I am very very very excited about this film, the concept of it and moreso the *title* have me in stitches every time I think about it - it`s so ridiculous it`s crossed over into *wonderful*!

I shall be very very upset though if the film doesn`t take itself 100% seriously!

Who`s with me? :D

oh dear, dear oh dear oh dear.

This, in premise, sounds like one of the worst movies in history.

The very thought of putting deadly snakes on a plane to kill someone is little short of laughable.

The honest notion that someone could smuggle deadly snakes on a plane is passable due to importing or exporting them................but the snakes themselves, on release, would do little more than to find the warmest darkest corner to hide in and go to sleep.

SLJ must be really scraping the barrel to even consider this tat. The studios must be scraping even lower to finance this.

You will Rue the day..........Go on then.....start rueing!!!!!

Ah now you see, you went and made me think the movie title was Snakes on a Motherf***in Plane and not just Snakes on a Plane.

Sounds fantastic. We keep moaning and groaning about movie remakes and remakes of asian films. ie The Fog, War of Worlds. We ask ourselfs has Hollywood run out of ideas, can`t they do anything original anymore well folks we have our answer.

Snakes on a Plane, what a hoot

It gets better folks.

Read this plot outline for another SLJ film the click the link to find out the genius name they have given it.

The plot involves a white nymphomaniac who must be "cured" of her disorder by an older black blues man.

He really isn`t doing well, i mean FFS this guy was both Jules Winnfield, and Mace Windu for crying out loud.

I try to refrain from t`internets abbreviations where I can, but LOL! :D

Someone`s obviously hacked IMDb and is trying to sully SLJ`s good name!

As for Snakes On A Motherf***ing Plane (as it shall be known henceforth), there`s got to be, got to I tells you, a spoof element in there... surely?

I *really* hope there isn`t! If they play it straight it could be the greatest (*unintentionally hilarious*) film ever.

I`m a huge fan of "Mystery Science Theatre 3000" and as such I`m tingling with excitement! :D
