For me it has to be `Space 1999` as long as they keep the theme tune and the Eagle space ships.

A decent Simpsons movie would be nice! If they can make Beavis & Butthead and South Park work I`m sure they could make this work. Having said that they`ve had long enough to come up with a script....

Generally TV to Movie just doesn`t work out imho.
eg. Dragnet / My Favourite Martian / Thunderbirds / Lost in Space etc ...

Aargh! That was what was wrong with the 1983 TV movie (the one Si`s thinking of). I mean a proper remake - with a bit of a postmodern twist. Have Robert Vaughn in as Mr Waverley (or admit time has passed by having Solo as the head of UNCLE). With a decent script it could be a vehicle for somebody like Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson.

Puts on Grandad`s old tin hat and hides behind sandbags I prepared earlier.
