Just watching this for the first time tonight, and Im finding it very slow and dull..apart from one thing..the bear has me in stitches all the time cos Im itching for him to shout `Oh...my tails popped out!`

I think the reason I appreciated the movie more than most is becasue I followed the production ever since Kubrick got his paws on it in 1980 something... Back in the days of endless copies of film review and newspaper clippings...... It was sort of the "legendary" lost Kubrick movie...............
I`m not defending the film in any way, as it is universally slated...
I just have a bit of ground work attatched to it...

Yeah, I though it was excellent.
However most people I know didn`t like it.
One thing you all must agree is that Haley Joel Osment is a bloody good actor. I think his performance in AI is just as good, if not better than The Sixth Sense.
